This week will be a lesson in how to properly hold Thai pads.

It’ll be a great learning lesson for new TBI students but also a good chance to review for advanced students on incorporating combos and remembering to end each one with a knee or kick.

Holding pads, for beginners or advanced students, is an essential part of studying Muay Thai.  There is an art to holding because you must use your skill sets to create a routine that matches the experience level of your partner.  Pacing and level of difficulty should be matched to your partner’s level of experience, and this will be a good test of your own abilities it creating a worthwhile exercise for your fellow TBI members.

So come in this week and see what nuggets of wisdom Coach Vik will share on proper technique and usual suggestions on how to do it right!
